The accomodation is extensive and the layout would adapt to most needs whether that be for more bedrooms or to provide a home office. It currently has 6 rooms used as bedrooms, but there are also a couple of rooms on the ground floor which are large, but only used for storage or laundry so again, very flexible.

You do need to visit this home to fully appreciate it, but to give you an idea, here is a guide to the layout. Enter into a modern a large modern hall with potential bedroom/office to your right, off this there is a large room currently used for ironing, but it has a sink and cupboards fitted so could be a bathroom or a work studio for an artist or similar. Up a small flight of steps with a nicely tiled WC on your left. Here there is an open plan living area with double doors out to the patio and views of the pool, adjacent a dining area and there is a modern fireplace here, on into the fitted kitchen with a range of white units. Beyond the living area, a bedroom and a shower room plus a door to the basement and a staircase to the original first floor where there are three bedrooms off a central landing which are all small doubles/generous singles and there is a bathroom and WC off one of them (this area needs refreshing while most other areas are pristine). Back downstairs and off the living area is a further small flight of steps which leads up to the new first floor which is a huge open plan area, very light and bright with windows all around, a gorgeous room which currently houses a seating area, a dining area and the family piano. Above this, the master suite with a large double room, en suite bathroom with spa bath and a super sun trap of a balcony with more great views. All the way back down in the basement is the usual storage, pool equipment, laundry area and also a bedroom with en suite shower room - handy for extra guests or a teenager who wants a bit of independence while still at home. There is a lot to take in, but a viewing would clarify it all for you so why not book one now.

There is little to do on this house, it's in good order and fairly low maintenance. Despite its size it would be very suitable as a holiday home, it has a secure gated entry system and would be easy to lock up and leave.

With regard to location, the property is fabulously well located for Dinard airport which has regular RyanAir flights to and from various parts of the UK and the Channel Islands and the ferry port at St Malo is a similar distance. Other nearby ports and airports include Rennes, Brest, Roscoff, St Brieuc and Nantes. There are both primary and secondary schools nearby and the education in this part of Brittany is excellent with very varied activities for children. Local commerce is in easy reach including general stores, bars, restaurants, banks, doctors, dentists, chemists and of course the ubiquitous boulangeries! Larger local towns within easy reach including Dinan, Lamballe and Plancoët provide for all your needs.
