Also, in August, there is a highly colourful "Art in the Streets" festival, in which street theatre takes place all over the town. The old town is still, in parts, medieval. There is a huge viaduct, made out of the local pink granite and Morlaix has many royal connections.
Get here by plane from the UK or Ireland into Brest, Dinard or Rennes airports or take the boat to Roscoff, St Malo or one of the more northerly ports. The TGV is available to Guingamp and the road network is excellent.
